Saying Good-bye

IMG_9426

Sometimes saying good-bye is a lot harder then you think it will be. It can be  letting go of a beloved pet or a favorite home.

Good-bye can be painful.

Sometimes our good-byes are full of tears or anger. Other times our good-byes are full of hope and promise.

Saying good-bye can be a way of letting go of what was in order to embrace what is to be.

I believe God has a plan for me. Somewhere in the pain of good-bye is the promise of tomorrow.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. -Jeremiah 29:11

I hope your good-byes aren't too painful. You seem to be having some exciting new things in your life. Hope those cheer you up and make you happy.

Good-byes can be painful, but I am very thankful for all I have and all the changes that are happening for my family. When I wrote this post I was thinking of all the goodbyes we say throughout our life. Some easy, some hard. Some we are glad to say goodbye to and some are difficult to let go:)

Are you saying goodbye to blogging?
Hope not!
I am going through my own goodbyes here and it is never easy. Said goodbye to my old desk last week.Who would think it would make me so sad??

Goodbyes are a regular part of life. I never felt that I did them well. But then I realized it doesn't matter that I do them well, only that I do them.

Those I love appreciate the effort, the heart, the presence of a friend. It's enough.

Goodbyes often make us stop and reflect, which I think is a good thing. Not easy, but needed to keep growing.
