MMM- Getting Organized

Okay, school is out. The last week of craziness is over. Now it is off to summer schedules and getting organized! I've been thinking a lot about my blog recently, where it's headed etc. I started this blog to update relatives and friends on the happenings of our family. Then I ventured into trying to lure unsuspecting readers to my blog. Why? I 'm not sure. Maybe because I wanted to see that visitor number roll, or maybe because I just wanted to feel popular. I'm sure that last one is some sort of hang up I have from high school. Anyway, in the process I found some really neat blogs to read and found many new friends. Now I'm wondering about direction. Direction of my life, my sagging body parts in a swimsuit, my blog...you get the idea. I think I may have a direction for my blog, don't ask me about the others!

So here's what I'm thinking for now. I plan on blogging about writing - my writing, other people's writing - on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I plan on writing about family on Monday and Friday. And in the fall I'll use Wednesday to catch up on the homeschooling thing. The weekends will be a grab bag of sorts. That's the plan.

Wow, I feel a lot better having told you that. It's like now I have made a promise and I need to stick to it. I"m going to try. Really, really try.

Oh, and I have an awesome give away coming up soon. I have no idea what day of the week I'll be throwing it out there. I'm not that organized!

Check back;)

Setting goals is the first thing to do, now implementing. You will do great! I can't wait to see where you go!

Sounds like a good plan, Kara. I always think I should be more organized with my blog, but then I get busy and don't always follow through.

Yes, well setting goals and then doing them are two very different animals around here:)
We'll see how it goes and I'm sure to tweek things here and there!

LOL Great plan. :-) You made me laugh about the popularity thing, since I was very much a quiet, by myself type of person in school (maybe 'cause I always had a book in my face? or maybe not. Snort)
Anyways, I hear you on the sagginess. What is it with that anyway? LOL
