Okay, hubby came up with this great idea for getting the innards out of the pumpkin for carving. He uses a dog brush, the metal kind you scrap over your dogs coat after bathing. Get out most of the seeds by hand and then use the brush to scrap out the rest. I should have taken a picture of the inside of the pumpkin because it is clean as a whistle and no risk of catching those little silky fibers on fire when you put the candle inside.
I thought this was a nifty idea...yes gals, he's sexy and smart!

That is a good idea! I hate getting the pumpkins cleaned out, so yucky :P
