Works For Me Wednesday

Today it's a Backwards Edition of Works For Me Wednesday, so I get to ask a question and you dear people get to give me some answers!! I have pondered about what I should ask, because well, I have more questions then answers most days.
But I have an article in my column that I need help with so I thought you all would be great to ask. My article is about family exercising, what do you do to get your family moving and grooving as a group? What activities do you do together that helps get your heart pumping? From silly to serious I would love to hear how you stay in shape with little ones or big ones in tow!! Thank you ahead of time, my editor will thank you too, because I know you all will have some creative and fun ideas!

Now head over to Shannon's to give more helpful advice!!

It's a lot tougher during the winter, but when it's warm out, go and play tag at the park or go on bike rides, or hiking, or play frisbee or whatever. Just do anything at all really.

We own an XBox 360 and as a family we love doing the Dance Revolution! After a session of that I've burned anywhere between 300-500 calories. It is a lot of fun, gets everyone involved, and works up a sweat! In these very frigid winter months it's great to have something like this indoors.

We play outside a ton, even in the winter. We love to build snow forts, snowmen and have snowball fights. In the summer we have the park, long walks and just running around. It is a great time.

Bike riding is big here.

DH, DS, & DD go "hiking" alot thru the woods looking for signs of deer.

We go to play gyms where parents are allowed on the frame! Oh you should see us! LOL. Actually, you will if you read my blog in the next few days, I am about to upload photos of us all playing in a play gym frame. Apart from that we dont exercise together as such. If I take the girls out for a walk they are in the pram. They go to dancing class too but thats not a family activity unless you count that I am the chauffeur!
